Inaugurato nel giugno 2001, il museo di arte sacra di Certaldo si trova all’interno dell’ex convento degli Agostiniani, a fianco della chiesa dei santi Jacopo e Filippo.
Dal museo si può visitare il chiostro dell’ex convento, uscendo attraverso una porta ad anta con barra orizzontale e rampa lunga 73 cm con pendenza 11,3 %; sul lato destro i sotterranei con la cripta accessibili solo tramite una scala.

Presenta una singolare raccolta di chiodi di ogni epoca e foggia, di utensili della civiltà contadina e di sculture in legno.
La collezione è opera di Giancarlo Masini, storico falegname e artista, conosciuto da tutti come “Beppe Chiodo”.
This original museum is set up inside Palazzo Giannozzi, an ancient manor house, now home to artisan workshops that carry out live work. It presents a unique collection of nails from every era and shape, tools from peasant civilization
and wood carvings. The collection is the work of Giancarlo Masini, historic carpenter and artist, known to all as
"Beppe Chiodo".
